The Lackawanna County Conservation District is seeking proposals from qualified forest planting contractors to plant approximately 10 acres of forest riparian buffer in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. Services sought include:
- Preparation mowing/clearing of approximately 10 acres
- Planting 250 bare-root seedlings per acre during the spring-summer-fall 2022 planting season
- Installation of perforated 5’ deer shelters on all stems and netting on top of shelters
- 3 years of maintenance as described below
