The Lackawanna County Conservation District is requesting bids for the construction of a roofed livestock heavy use area, manure storage facility, and associated practices on the Richard Tratthen Farm to be funded in part by the Chesapeake Bay Program. Construction of this project is expected to begin during the summer/fall of 2018, with project completion scheduled for the end of 2018. The site is located in Scott Township, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. A site showing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20th, 2018.

Prospective contractors will receive a bid package consisting of: instructions to bidders, a bid sheet, a sample contract form, project plans, and construction specifications. Small and minority businesses and women’s business enterprises are encouraged to respond to this invitation for bids.
